The company Le Cettinelle was born in Sicily in 2017. The name of this workshop is inspired by the name of the founder Cettina, a passionate artisan who has for over twenty years transmitted her love for the traditional handmade products of her territory. A brand that embodies the beauty of Sicily, its folklore and its colours. In the workshop, the craftswomen create fashion accessories and bags, primarily in typical Sicilian felted wool. The traditional accessories of the island are recreated in fabric, leather or hand-plaited baby palm leaves and are embellished with braided trimmings, pompoms, mirrored sequins or bells and decorated in the tradition of Sicilian horse carts. Each piece is unique, and entirely hand sewn and painted. In addition to their catalogue items, the atelier can also produce goods on request.
