Laura Berretti is the artist who, in 1999, created the Marbled Arts project, a workshop specialized in the creation by hand of marbled paper, based in Florence. It is a unique and very colourful place, with a collection of about one hundred samples with both traditional and contemporary textures, to which new ones are added every year. In addition to production, the artistic studio offers its clients a range of services that go from consulting on the matching of paper, to made-to-measure orders and management of licences. The clients include many craftspeople and designers, such as art binders, publishers, interior designers, restorers and dealers. It is also possible to attend individual courses of paper marbling, to learn the traditional techniques.
