Marco Mignarri is a painting restorer with a strong vocation for art. After his studies at Florence’s Fine Art Academy, he specialized in the restoration of painted wooden and textile artefacts at the Palazzo Spinelli’s Institute for Arts and Restoration, where he has also been teaching since 2020. He then took internships in Florence and Arezzo, where he restored important artworks from the 14th and 16th centuries. Today he works in Siena as an independent restorer, mainly focusing on textile and wooden painted artworks, murals, polychrome wooden sculptures and golden artefacts, as well as creating his own paintings, also available on commission. Additionally, he decorates interiors and objects as well as providing gilding and trompe-d’oeil works. He successfully participated in various competitions and exhibitions, and in 2021 he was shortlisted among the finalists of Wellmade’s contest “Artigiano del Cuore”.
