Mario Mansi is a master mosaicist based in Minori, a town nestled in the Amalfi Coast, near Salerno. For over 20 years he has been crafting artistic mosaics, specializing in religious themes, holy portraits and liturgical art. His work radiates a refined devotional aura and pure creativity. Each piece is rigorously hand-crafted applying the traditional techniques of artistic mosaic making, starting from a careful selection of materials: precious marbles coming from all over the world, Venetian enamels and gold leaf mosaic. The composition process is carried out with great attention to detail: the result is an actual authorial painting, small or large in format, endowed with an elegant, soft light and an almost sculptural rendering, thus pushing mosaic techniques beyond its boundaries. All of his artworks are one-of-a-kind.
