Marta Monduzzi is a ceramist from Faenza. She graduated from Ballardini Art School and later studied decoration at Bologna’s Fine Arts Academy. After spending a few years managing a mosaic and ceramic workshop alongside a fellow artisan, she opened her own business in 2017. Over the course of her studies and her experiences in the field, she experimented with different decorative techniques, such as sandblasting, crystalline relief and sgraffito. Today, in her atelier in downtown Faenza, she creates ceramic items entirely by hand, using mainly white clay and stoneware. Her eclectic production includes everyday objects and tableware, as well as home decors, jewels and one-of-a kind pieces, such as vases and sculptures. The decorations range from embossed or sgraffito motifs to more material textures. She also creates bespoke items on request.
