Massimo Micheluzzi first entered the world of glass at a very young age, coming in contact with the Venini family: it was in their famous furnace in Murano, in the late Seventies, that Massimo had his first encounter with this material and with the glassmaking trade, working as a photographer cataloguing the production of the renowned craft company. Later, several collaborations with important masters led him to pursue the direct experience of working in a furnace. After a long and exciting apprenticeship, he created his own brand and opened a studio in Venice.
Since then his style and production have constantly evolved, resulting in actual works of art inspired by the fluid and organic shapes of Nature, and characterized by textured surfaces and iridescent transparencies.
Many of his pieces are showcased in renowned international museums and both private and public collections in Italy, France, Netherlands and United States.
