The small showroom in N. 1, via Bagutta, within Milan’s Fashion Quadrangle, features a very rare artisanal activity: strictly hand-made waistbands and buttons are manufactured in the adjoning workshop. Hundreds of leather and metal belts, adorned with crystal beads, rhinestones and varieties of semi-precious stones hang from the walls. A stunning collection of buttons in all shapes and materials is stored in drawers: from simpler galalith ones, which can be treated with different hues, to buttons in gilt or silvered brass, adorned with pearls or enamels to buttons created with tiny coloured beads.
The bijoux are whimsical, colourful pieces, adding a touch of originality to one’s apparel. They are easy to wear and combine: they are the accessories that add to the life and personality of any woman. They are entirely hand-made, using carefully selected materials which are suggested by the craftsmen’s own creativity and passion: galalith, ribbons, chains, wool, glass, wood, fabrics, resins, pearls, hard stones and rhinestone.
