Sebastiano Yon is a professional sculptor and woodcarver with a workshop located in Pont Saint Martin, near Aosta.
He became passionate about sculpture building stone fireplaces. Finally, in 2001, this passion became his profession, after taking craftsmanship courses in wood carving and stone processing offered by the Region and gaining the title of master craftsman. After working as an apprentice inside several local workshops, he opened his own business. Today he creates sculptures, pictures and home decors using stone and wood sourced directly in the Aosta Valley, materials which he combines with great originality, giving life to highly appreciated works of art portraying traditional Valdostan subjects with a modern twist.
He took part in several events in the Aosta Valley, in Italy and abroad, winning numerous awards.
