Simone Groppi is a goldsmith sculptor, and a graduate from Milan’s Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera.
Following in his father’s footsteps, a master goldsmith who started his activity back in the 1970s, he continued his research of the splendour of lost ancient civilisations by reproducing ancient jewels and necklaces, breastplates, rings, earrings, and armbands.
Nowadays, in the Saronno’s family workshop, Simone Groppi creates works combining ancient jewels and contemporary style by using traditional skills like chiselling and lost-wax casting. Clients can create their own design or avail themselves of a bespoke service, as well as have their jewels repaired or precious gold objects melted down to be re-worked as new pieces.
