Simone Marzana is a craftsman operative for twenty years in the field of ceramics. After completing his studies in Applied Arts with a specialisation in ceramics at the A. Corradini Art Institute in Este, he worked for some years in various ceramics workshops in the territory, while also cultivating his passion for oil and acrylic painting. Following a two-year period in Mexico where he continued to work as a ceramic artist and painter, he returned to Italy to open his own workshop, specialising in the fabrication of small traditional wind instruments, the traditional Venetian Cuchi. In addition to these popular whistles, his workshop also produces ornaments and small fantasy or carnivalesque sculptures decorated with gold enamel with a low heat final firing. These objects are inspired by the world of fables and legends, tradition and popular tales.
