Ceramiche Simonetti was founded in 1967 by the master craftsman Giovanni Simonetti, who took over an old workshop and started his business using the traditional systems of the pedal-operated  potter’s wheel and the wood-fired kiln, with the aim of preserving the centuries-old tradition of the art of ceramics of Castelli. Today, in the workshop, run by his son Antonio, objects made and painted by hand are produced by a qualified labour force: majolica, plates, dishes, and decorative objects, articles for the kitchen and of design. The collaboration with artists and designers of international fame guarantees a refined stylistic research and a style that can meet all the requirements of modern living.
