Tailor’s NY is a traditional company that has produced mannequins and fabric covered busts for display since 1969 and which are now renowned worldwide. Indeed, these articles can be found in display windows and shops to showcase a wide variety of garment styles including haute couture, wedding gowns or formalwear. The owner Maurizia Manghi personally supervises all steps in their production. In the laboratory in Reggio Emilia, each article is handmade with great care and meticulous craftsmanship. Materials and components are carefully chosen, from the resistant body frame which is then padded and covered in machine stitched textile and completed by hand, to the final quality control of each single article. The results are exclusive tailor’s busts which are unique and constructed with an environmentally sustainable approach.

Founded in 1969 in Reggio Emilia, Tailor's NY has resisted in time. The proprietor Maurizia Manghi, also a historical employee, took over the company from its previous owner and manages it today with passion together with her family. These world renowned Italian fabric covered busts are veritable works of art, a tailor-made process meticulously followed step by step. The company has resisted the temptation for a more industrial approach for fear of losing their distinctive handcrafted touch.
