Chiara De Filippis is a jewellery designer and goldsmith currently based in Florence, where she founded her eponymous jewellery brand in 2015.

Born and raised in Rome, Chiara pursued studies in the humanities before following her instinct and a personal drive for artistic exploration to Florence. There, she trained through a traditional apprenticeship in a goldsmith’s workshop. Drawing on this formative experience and on inspiration gathered through extensive international travel, she developed a distinctive creative language that is both essential and instantly recognisable.

In her atelier, she creates entirely handcrafted jewellery in gold and silver, set with natural gemstones, mastering techniques such as hand forging and the Korean art of Keum-boo. Her work is informed by philosophical and naturalistic inspirations, expressed through a refined and understated aesthetic. Through an intuitive approach to precious metals—gold and silver—and the use of ancient techniques such as hammer forging, she creates continuous forms, balanced volumes and pure lines.

Her creations, featured in international galleries and private collections, explore the essence of form through a dialogue between solid and empty space, technical rigour and intuition. Each piece embodies a meaning, conceived to foster a profound connection between the maker and the wearer.
