Giuseppe Rivadossi began sculpting wood at a very young age, creating works inspired by his poetic idea of living. In 1962 he inherited his father’s carpentry workshop, which over the years he has transformed into an avant-garde modern creative atelier, thanks also to the work of his sons Emanuele and Clemente.
Unique furniture and furnishing accessories, a futuristic design that is still person-centric. His works of art are distinctive in their details – the natural grain of the wood, the concealed hinges and locks, and the minute low-relief work. The main techniques are sculpting from blocks of wood, interlocking assembly and hand-planed and trimmed finishes.
His works are on show in leading international locations, including the MOMA in New York, Tamayo Museum in Mexico City, the London Shard and Shanghai.
