Ambrosiana Arte is a Milan-based workshop specializing in artistic decoration, run by Diego Penacchio Ardemagni. After his studies in graphic design, the master trained as a shop boy inside the best restoration and decoration ateliers in Milan, while also studying at Brera’s Fine Art Academy: drawing, stained glass, fresco and mural decoration, mosaic, painting and restoration are just a few of the techniques he learned during his extensive training, before he decided to open his own business in the early Eighties. Today, in his atelier he creates all kinds of decoration and artistic crafts, with special attention for stained glass and its restoration. He also collaborated with important 20th Century and contemporary artists such as Purificato, Paganini and Repossi. He is able to replicate any style, from Gothic to Cubism, from Baroque to Renaissance. He also translated works by Paolo Uccello, Leonardo Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Picasso and Mucha, and has curated the restoration of stained glass artworks by Galileo Chini and Chagall.
