Anema e Corde is a craft lutherie workshop based in Naples, run by the two master luthiers, Salvatore and Pasquale Mancino.
The two masters carry on the important tradition of the Neapolitan School of Lutherie while at the same time introducing personal and original elements in classical models. In their studio they design, make and restore stringed and plucked musical instruments such as violins, violas, cellos, mandolins, mandoloncelli, cantabile lutes and classical, acoustic and electric guitars; all unique pieces, rigorously crafted by hand with skillful technique, taste and creativity.
The exclusive use of resonant and naturally seasoned wood, combined with traditional building techniques and high quality varnishes make each instrument an actual work of art and Anema e Corde an innovative research workshop.
In the restoration of antique instruments, the utmost care and attention goes into restoring and making the instrument’s “voice” last in time, while also returning it to its former glory.
