Anna Viero’s business started in the 1950s in a small family-run workshop: the five Viero sisters were taught the art of knitting during the Second World War by a refugee who had fled to the province of Vicenza.
The youngest of five sisters, Anna, after experience in craft knitwear and as a pattern-maker, opened her business in 1989, focusing on pure cashmere. Today she runs the workshop with her daughters Federica and Carla: they make items of clothing entirely finished by hand, in 100% pure cashmere and other fine yarns.
The business is guided by the old family passion for quality knitwear and attention to detail, exalting very fine yarns which, in their hands, become exquisite and refined creations.

The craftsmanship of Anna Viero can literally be touched with the hand, firstly for the softness of the pure cashmere, the prized vicuña yarn, and silk combined with steel, but also linen and textile paper while cashmere is threaded with gold to create a special sheen and resplendence. Her creations are characterised by their soft lines inspired by classical art and their delicate colour palate. The meticulous preparation of the garments includes a wide and customised range of services, with the possibility of creating bespoke and personalized clothing items.
