Blifase is a craft company specialising in the production of chairs, stools and sofas located in Corno di Rosazzo, the small town in the province of Udine that was once one of the peaks of the Friulian district known as the ‘Chair Triangle’ for the exceptional presence of workshops and carpentry manufactures for furniture.
Founded in 1963 by Lionello Buttazzoni, Blifase is still run today by the same family and in particular by his son Franco and granddaughter Elena, who carry on the founder’s philosophy, closely linked to the territory and craftsmanship values. The activity ranges from concept development to the realisation of the finished product and focuses on wooden chairs – mainly beech and ash, with a wide range of different finishes – and upholstered furniture, for residential use and for the hospitality sector. All key production steps are handled in-house, allowing for highly customised solutions to be offered to customers. The integration of traditional manual work on the one hand, and new technologies on the other, allows the production of small series as well as large-scale supplies.
