Sabrina Mattei opened her workshop Borgo Solaio at Pietrasanta in Versilia in 2016. Taking her inspiration from fine Florentine craftsmanship, she creates hand-made fashion accessories made to last.
The wide range of materials, from recycled materials to fine fabrics, are carefully selected and matched. Jute and leather are hand-woven, while yarns such as wool are crocheted, using traditional tailoring techniques. Every item is fully fabric-lined, and may include sleeves in wood essences such as bamboo, fabric or other materials. The fastenings and decorative elements are made of metal.
As well as various different bag designs, Sabrina’s products include accessories such as make-up bags, hairbands and hair clips.
