Claudio Biason is a figurative painter, decorator and restorer licensed by the Italian Ministry of Culture.
He studied at the Istituto Veneto dei Beni Culturali in Venice, and then furthered his knowledge by graduating in Science and Chemical Technologies for Conservation and Restoration at Ca’ Foscari University.
After his training, he worked for a few years in an antiquities shop in Portogruaro, restoring antique furniture and gilded frames, and then opened his own workshop in his home town, Concordia Sagittaria, in the province of Venice.
Over the course of his studies and many years of experience, he specialised in the restoration of paintings on canvas and board, but also carries out restoration works on wooden sculptures and gilded frames.
He also makes works of art on commission, such as frescoes and wall decorations: inspired by Italian painting and the history of art from the 16th to the 19th century, he employs his great talent for painting by realizing copies of artworks by great artists.
