Although graduating in Biology, Daniela Felisetti has been studying and working in the field of painting restoration for 25 years. Thanks to her extensive experience in restoring artworks on any kind of support or from very different ages, from the 14th to the 20th century, several collectors and antique dealers rely on her skills for restoration and research about the paintings’ authorship, dating, and valuation.
As a passionate professional restorer, Daniela Felisetti applies minimum intervention so as to preserve the artwork’s integrity and original support.
Restoration, though, means ongoing study and upgrading of different techniques and of the materials to be used. Restoring a painting to its original splendour always causes strong emotions to her.
