Born in Piedmont, Daniela Poletti has loved manual work since childhood, until she turned into a professional glass artist as an adult.
After taking a number of specialised training courses, she started her own experimentations in the early 1990s, with a collection of glass flowers and succulents which was rewarded with immediate success. A few months later, she showcased her first home furnishings at Milan’s Salone del Mobile and in 1992, she established her own ‘Vetrofuso’ workshop.
Here, she creates bespoke or made-to-order objects, combining traditional techniques and contemporary patterns. From sculptural decorations and home furnishings to precious bijoux, her products feature innovative design and unique colours.
Over twenty years’ activity, she has cooperated with major fashion brands and well-known designers, hotels, restaurants and star chefs across the world. Her works are showcased at the prestigious Paris’ Maison & Objet trade fair and at Moskow’s WorldWide Salons.
