Elisabetta Cialli is an eclectic artist and artisan, who expresses herself through a variety of languages, mainly ceramics. Born in Florence, after a diploma at the Art School she studied Architecture and Design, attending specializing courses in the field of ceramics, such as the one on third-firing porcelain decoration at the Richard Ginori school. Her multifaceted training allows her to harmoniously combine various disciplines, shapes and functions in her artworks; thus, in her atelier in Florence, she creates ceramic pieces that serve both as sculptures and as functional pieces. The use of gold is one of the signature marks of her style, alongside the emphasizing of textures and unusual shapes and colours. She was a finalist at Carouge’s international ceramic competition “La Lampe Ceramique” and at “Baccio da Montelupo” international award for ceramic art.
