Born into a leather goods manufacturers’ family, who had been designing and creating luxury accessories for three generations, Elena Boffi developed a passion for jewellery. Having inherited her family’s legacy of craftsmanship and creativity, she graduated at Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in Milan and began creating jewels with precious stones and materials, thus launching her own career.
While Boffi’s stone and silver creations hark back to the ornaments of Renaissance ladies, imbued with poetry and refinement, her bronze and silver works, processed with the lost wax technique, are utterly contemporary sculptures.
All of them, however, transmit her love and passion on to the wearers themselves. Each jewel is a thoroughly handmade, unique piece, created with hypoallergenic materials.
