Elena Buran is a skilled ceramist working in Appignano, near Macerata. After studying Sculpture at Venice’s Fine Art Academy, she moved to Appignano, city of ceramics, where she discovered the potter’s wheel and explored moulding techniques. Always fascinated by the idea of hand-molding, today Elena crafts her sculptures implementing ceramic and scrap materials, such as wood. Her favorite subjects are tiny sculptures, figures and faces, but she also creates interior design items such as lamps, vases and decorative panels. All her pieces are original and unique, often functional and always capable of creating a harmonious and beautiful atmosphere, wherever they are placed. Her workshop, opened in 2018, includes a showroom and an educational area where those who wish to do so can experiment with their creativity.
