The tradition of the Fornace Curti, dating back to the 15th century, started with the creation of the briquettes and bricks molded by Solari and Guiniforte for the building site of the Ca’ Granda, the ancient hospital of Milan. Since then the Furnace location has moved at least four times, but their ancient workmanship in terracotta processing is still untouched. Nowadays, thanks to the guided tours, clients can book in advance and enjoy a fascinating journey through amphoras and ancient finds, or they can visit the workshops and watch the different phases of terracotta working.
