The In Tessere atelier was established in Ravenna, the historical city featuring world-famous Byzantine mosaic, by Tiziana Mondini. Later on, Mondini moved it to Narni, a medieval village in Umbria, where she installed both production and educational activities, offering top-quality courses for different specialising degrees.
The studio is an international landmark for mosaic, hosting experienced artists and architects who daily commit themselves to designing, innovating, disseminating and passing on this valuable tradition.
Specialising in adapting mosaic to any medium, both for indoor and outdoor use, they create classical and modern works, spanning jewellery, furnishing, design and architecture, also combining mosaic tiles with different elements, such as terracotta, marble and wood.
