Laura de Cesare is an expert weaver.
In her workshop in Pisa, threads and weanings generate ideas and ideas turn into projects. Laura works at the loom by hand, creating home textiles, clothing and fashion accessories, as well as contemporary works of art, which are also the result of collaborations with designers and stylists.
Each product is handmade, according to the rules of traditional craftsmanship, starting with fabrics made of fine fibres, such as cashmere, silk, linen and hemp, or from short or local supply chains.
Her careful research gives rise to small collections with great personality and unique custom-made pieces. Laura de Cesare firmly believes in the study of weaving as a basis for creating high-quality, handcrafted products. For this reason, her atelier is also a school, where enthusiasts and young or less experienced crafters approach and deepen their knowledge of textile design and weaving techniques.
