Legno di Puglia is a young company located in the province of Bari and founded by Semmy Marziliano, Angela Matarrese and Vincenzo Rizzi. Aware of the enormous potential of local prime materials, they opened an activity based on the valorisation of the local timber. Starting from trunks of felled trees otherwise destined for destruction, they source their prime material which their skilled craftsmen transform into original creations with a style something between rustic and contemporary and produced in limited numbers. All products are handmade, and the craftsmen use traditional construction techniques to produce everyday objects, decorative accessories and ornaments. A highlight of the showroom is the Xylotheque, a veritable “library of Apulian wood” to disseminate the culture of wood and they also organise seminars and workshops open to the public.
