Les Libellules is a dressmaking atelier which was opened in 2010 in Bologna by the three designers, Alice Cappellieri, Paola Parenti and Isabelle Guignand. They present collections of fashion for women characterized by decorative embroidery, reinterpretations of stage costumes and the use of artisanally printed exotic fabrics. As well as creating made-to-measure evening gowns and dresses for special occasions for private clients, they also provide consulting services to companies and the entertainment world, the theatre and advertising. Collaborating with the Textile Anthropology project, they make wedding dresses and unique pieces with eco-printed fabrics. Thanks to their brand of children’s clothing, they have achieved great success even in Japan. Italian and international professionals regularly hold courses and workshops in the atelier.
