The atelier Luce d’Autore (Authorial Light) was founded in 1985 by Anna Spallanzani, a lamp-manufacturer with over 20 years of experience, and it is nowadays the only one in business in the city of Reggio Emilia. In 2020 the workshop was taken over by Francesca Dall’Aglio, who has been able to preserve the values of craftsmanship quality of the origins: she creates and repairs lampshades and fans of all kinds and dimensions, by using fireproof cardboards that she covers with precious textiles or hand-embroidered fabrics from local artisans, while relying on a skilled Florentine blacksmith for lampstands.
Unique decorative elements, both refined and long-lasting, able to fit all kinds of setting, also through bespoke customisation, such as photo prints on canvas, or ad hoc designed fabrics supplied by the client.
