Carpenteria Metallica Mingardo was founded in 1970 by Ilario Mingardo. After an initial period in the construction industry, he started to create exclusive metal objects handmade by a team of specialised craftsmen, and in collaboration with leading architects such as Carlo Scarpa. Today, the workshop is managed by his son Daniele: in 2013 at 25 years old and with a strong desire to renew the family tradition, Daniele founded “Mingardo”, a brand of exclusive metalware objects designed by emerging designers and produced in limited editions by skilled craftsmen, thus uniting the best of handcraftsmanship, care to detail and a linear, essential contemporary design. The workshop produces made-to-measure and customised furnishing accessories.
