M.V. Guido Polloni is an artistic stained glass workshop founded in 1919 by Guido Polloni. Listed among the most renowned master glassmakers of our time, thanks to his continuous research and study, he devoted his career to creating extremely diverse artistic glass artefacts, from classical and sacred art productions to furnishings and design elements incorporated in modern architecture, both for private homes or large public buildings. The atelier, in business for a century now, is still located in via Fra’ Giovanni Angelico, in Florence, and has a long-standing family tradition: first Sergio Papucci, son in law of Guido Polloni, worked alongside the master. After his death, his daughters Cinzia and Silvia Papucci, both graduates of the Porta Romana Art Institute, took over the business and, alongside their respective children, manage what is now one of Italy’s most prestigious artistic stained glass ateliers. Alongside their stained glass production, they also provide maintenance and conservative restoration services for antique stained glass.
