Romano Sarvadon is a blacksmith from Chatillon, Aosta. He founded his workshop “Officina Tour”, specialized in iron workmanship, taking over the family business and enriching the production with more artistic processings and unique pieces.
Master ironworker since 1985, in his atelier he skillfully forges metal giving life to artifacts and indoor and outdoor furnishings such as staircases, garden sculptures and decorative elements. His real passion, however, is knives: his production includes some models inspired by local traditions, such as the “topolino Valdostano”, and highly customizable designs.
He took part in several expositions dedicated to wrought iron, such as the Biennale in Stia, Limena and Saint Vincent. He collaborated in the creation of two sculptures for Chatillon’s city centre, entitled “La rotonda delle alpi” and “Il fabbro si trasforma in attrezzo”.
In his workshop he also offers courses and workshops for knives enthusiasts.
