S.C. is a project by Silvia Comi, young and talented illustrator. Born in Milan in 1989, after graduating from architecture, a profession which she continues to practice, in recent years she came in contact with the world of illustrated books: a passion of hers since childhood, never forgotten.
After taking some illustration courses at Macerata’s Ars in Fabula school and living between Verona and Switzerland, she returned to her home town, where she began giving life to her projects: books, drawings and illustrations created using the mixed collage technique, combining various kinds of paper, fabrics and colours. Each drawing is crafted with the utmost care, sometimes finished or post-produced digitally, and finally framed.
Over the years she designed books and other publications, illustrating them with her dreamy, poetic and sometimes ironic pictures, where people, the main characters, are immersed in imaginative landscapes or in empty, reassuring and onirical spaces.
