Solelò ceramics is Lorenza Bessone‘s artisanal brand of minimalistic style ceramic artifacts. After her studies in history and art, and having collected many years of experience as an exhibition planner and designer for art critic Enzo Biffi Gentili, in 2015 Lorenza’s passion for ceramic making came to light, giving her the chance for artistic expression she was looking for. She then went off to study in Faenza and Torino, training in the use of the pottery-wheel, while also learning all about the chemicals involved in the application of glaze and varnish, and thus finally turning her passion into a profession. In her atelier in Saluzzo, she creates ceramic utensils and everyday items, while also crafting stoneware interior design décors, carefully curating each step of the production – from sketching custom designs for each client to the actual crafting of the object, from the finishing touches to the final glazing. Her pieces are meant to last a lifetime and bring beauty and richness into ordinary life.
