Stampalanatura is a project by Marzia Ghezzo and Mafalda Pistillo: in their workshop in Ostuni, these two artisans create decorations on eco-friendly, recycled, handmade paper and organic fabrics, such as cotton and linen, and implementing the artisanal technique of botanical print. Their work is a tribute to the beauty of the landscape, where each print is a unique mark representing Mother Nature: leaves and flowers are initially harvested and pressed, later categorized, and finally hand-printed, thus forever capturing their beauty. Plants are matched with their scientific name by using specially made wooden stamps; plus, a collaboration with a craft atelier located in Salento, specialized in plant-based dyes, brought to the development of 100% natural inks, obtained using pigments extracted from roots, wood, flowers and medicinal dye plants.
