Wellmade was conceived by the designer duo of Whomade, Edoardo Perri and Dario Riva, who have been working for several years to relaunch the idea of leading-edge craftsmanship for a new way of perceiving objects.
The project was developed together with Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, a private non-profit organisation founded in Milan in 1995. The aim of its activities is to accomplish a “new Renaissance” of the crafts, especially create new generations of Masters of Art and rescue crafts of excellence from the threat of disappearance.
