CMA Cooperativa Maestri d’Arte (Art Masters Cooperative) was established in 1978 following the initiative of a group of graduates from Oristano’s School of Art.
Today, the company is run by Angela Zoccheddu and Antonello Atzori, skilled ceramists specialising in lathe-shaping craftsmanship and glaze decorations, creating typical Sardinian objects inspired by tradition, like bride’s jugs, ring-shaped amphorae or the cockerel vases. Decorations are inspired to weaving and carving motifs, such as the floral symbolic forms featuring in goldsmithing, furnishings and on Sardinian home façades.
For over 30 years, CMA has taken part in Sardinian major art crafts exhibitions, specialised stores and in many regional and national contests.

At CMA in Oristano, the dialogue between design and material finds its fullest expression. As designers, we experienced a collaboration capable of translating the drawing into a living form. Angela Regina Sonia Zoncheddu preserves, with poetic rigor, the tradition of the Brocca della Sposa; Antonello Atzori, with rare sensitivity and mastery, interprets each texture with precision, intelligence, and a deep attentiveness to the project.
