Edi Magi has passionately devoted herself to ceramics for over 30 years.
Born near Arezzo, in Castiglion Fiorentino (Tuscany), she became passionate about working with clay because of its infinite expressive possibilities: shaping clay, this ceramist gives life to her ideas, which sometimes arise by chance and other times are based on a project. Her work focuses on research and experimentation: without forgetting tradition, her ceramics break away from the classical shapes of functional objects, becoming contemporary feeling sculptures. Each piece is unique, sculpted and decorated exclusively by hand, while the inspiration comes from the nature and the sea, and from the countries, cultures and people she met during her travels: emotions and memories coming from these experiences clearly transpire in her artworks. In her showroom she also holds classes and ceramic workshops. She took part in several international competitions and her artworks can be found in private collections and museums.
