Ialy Art is Valentina Calderini’s artistic project: a craft ceramic brand and workshop located in Perugia.
From an early age, Valentina showed passion for art and remarkable manual skills. After getting her diploma from “Bernardino di Betto” Art School, she started browsing Deruta’s ceramic workshops, learning processing techniques and refining her artistic skills under the guidance of experienced ceramists. Later, she opened her own atelier, giving life to her production, nowadays ranging from classical style, inspired by traditional motifs from Deruta and beyond, to more modern decorations, all the way to artistic replicas or creative reinterpretations of famous artworks. Her work is based on the union between beauty, tradition and experimentation: in an endless pursuit of new shapes and styles, Valentina draws inspiration from her own experiences and travels, always introducing new elements such as details from Indian monuments.
