Codice dell’Arte is an association and ceramics workshop founded by Gaetano Patrizio Sbriglione, a master ceramicist from Caltagirone. The artist has a vast artistic experience, ranging from music and painting to stage design and ceramics. He took his first steps in working clay in his hometown, taking his inspiration from the forms of nature and decorative motifs of Sicilian tradition and in particular, those of Caltagirone that he has masterfully innovated in a contemporary key. Since 2007 he lives and works in Rome and gives courses in ceramics while producing decorated furnishing elements and surprising unglazed or glazed sculptures primarily featuring masks or Moorish heads in traditional or contemporary styles.
