L’Artificio is a restoration workshop specializing in the maintenance and preservation of textile artworks.
Beatrice Campanella is the founder and owner of the atelier: born in Genoa but Brescian by adoption, after a degree in art history and enhancement of cultural heritage, she graduated as a Textile Art Restoration Technician at the “Enaip” Restoration School of Botticino.
After her studies she opened her workshop in Concesio, near Brescia, in 2019.
Besides preserving and restoring artifacts, she provides staging, dismounting and handling services for textile artworks, as well as designing and consulting services for professionals and other key players of the industry throughout Italy.
Her studio is a multi-purpose space dedicated to treasuring and carrying on the dialogue between past and present.
In 2021 she founded the podcast “DRITTOFILO: Storie di trame ed orditi” (Stories of warps and wefts), available on the main streaming platforms.
