Born in 1988, Simone Falli showed from an early age his passion for creative and manual work, experimenting with various crafts from screen printing to restoration and hand weaving. He learned his trade from his uncle with whom he has worked together for many years and then he opened his own workshop outside Florence in the town of Certaldo. His “Piccolo studio tessile” (small textile studio) is located in a country property where he carries out his experimentation, weaving on hand operated wooden looms fashion accessories with geometric and dynamic motifs. He uses exclusively fine natural fibres such as Merino or Alpaca wool, but also cotton, and linen and all from environmentally sustainable sources.
