Maestro Paolo Penko is one of the best representatives of Florentine goldsmith’s tradition. Along with his son and his wife Beatrice, an expert gemmologist, he works in his atelier, a stone’s throw from the Duomo.
Each jewel is a one-of-a-kind piece, prompted by an idea and converted into a drawing, then coming to life thanks to ancient manufacturing techniques, entirely based on hand-made processing. Amazing works in gold and silver conjure up architectures and paintings from Florence’s historical and cultural legacy, while simultaneously disclosing their contemporary flair.
Especially attractive Florentia Charms – bracelets and necklaces customised with small pendants with evocative symbols known as “charms” – feature in the shop’s collections “Penkini” and “Arti e mestieri”.
