The Sorrentino family has been active for over three generations in the restoration and production of artistic stonework. Initially, the founder Vincenzo transmitted his trade to his son Carmine, while today it is the grandson Raffaele who continues the activity of the atelier Maestranze Napoletane. The laboratory in Via Nuova Toscanella, specialised in marble inlay work, has a vast range of objects created by a team of skilled craftsmen also including Raffaele’s children: stone marquetry works, furnishing elements, ornaments, sculptures, floorings and wall panels. The workshop is distinguished for its meticulous attention to detail and its preservation of traditional techniques, finest quality materials but above all, the skills of the craftsmen who work there. Raffaele Sorrentino was awarded the title of Maestro Artigiano in 2015.
