Master Sergio Mazzola was one of the founding fathers of Udine’s goldsmith school. Today, this tradition is handed down by his daughters, Clarice and Paola, and  by his grandchildren, Dario and Marta.
Their workshop creates jewels, as well as art objects and furnishing items, following the most sophisticated manufacturing techniques and drawing their inspiration from samples of the ancient Lombard jewellery. Silver and precious stones are combined with poor conventional materials like bone, stones, chalk, orange peel, “scus” (corn-cob leaf in the local dialect) and a number of other natural textures, reminiscent of the original ornamental function of jewels.
From the initial design to production, the customer is followed step by step along a research and designing path leading to unique bespoke works.

The Generazioni Orafe’s team is a forge of ideas and enthusiasm. I have had the opportunity to work with them on several exhibitions with jewellery created ad hoc, according to the chosen theme. They have the ability to create unique and contemporary jewellery with clear references to history, both technically and stylistically. They manage to combine different materials and create super innovative jewellery while remaining consistent with their identity.
