Francesco Pavan is a master goldsmith, archaeology technician and historical re-enactor from Venice, founder of the brand 4NOVE. Art school graduate and lifelong lover of the ancient world, over the course of his career he delved into the history and techniques of ancient and modern goldsmithing, developing a savoir-faire that goes well beyond mere jewellery-making. Pavan is indeed capable of recreating even the working tools of artistic goldsmithing, as well as passionately dedicating himself to the reproduction and remaking of antique jewellery, historical pieces and metal archaeological findings, including weapons and furnishings, thanks to years of experiments, studies and field research. In addition to precious metals and semiprecious stones, he also works with more unusual and sophisticated materials such as mammoth ivory and deer antlers. The result is a functional and durable product, meticulously curated from the design all the way to aesthetics and details.
