Carolina Tamagnone is a professional restorer licensed by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. She studied at “La Venaria Reale” restoration school, specializing in ceramic and glass items, organic materials, metals and alloys. She then completed various internships, including one at Direzione Regionale Musei Piemonte (Piedmont’s Regional Museums Office), where she worked on a batch of eastern weapons from Racconigi Castle. She restored valuable public monuments such as the War memorial “Monumento ai Caduti” in Sant’Anna and San Pietro a Vico (Lucca).
In 2022 she opened her workshop “CTR – Carolina Tamagnone Restauro” in Venaria Reale, close to Turin, where she carries out conservative interventions on cultural heritage and state-owned or private properties of historical, archaeological and modern relevance, with particular attention to the treatment of metals and alloys, but also ceramics and glass. She also offers other services, such as documentation and research, analysis and consulting, setting up and dismantling exhibitions.
