Decorhouse is Elisa Perini‘s furniture restoration and decoration workshop in Ravenna.
A versatile atelier where antique and modern furniture regains its former beauty, or a new identity, thanks to the intervention and skilful hands of the restorer. Elisa graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, specialising in the restoration of archaeological artefacts, and after her studies she has gained experience in this field in several institutions abroad.
Back in Italy, she approached furniture restoration, decoration and upholstery by taking a course, and thus acquiring new knowledge related to textiles.
It was a real lightning strike: she decides to combine wood conservation with textile work and her prior knowledge, and to start her own business, which today allows her to range widely in the decoration and restoration of furniture by using a variety of techniques.
She has recently dedicated herself to transforming chairs and seats into real works of art, exhibiting her work in private exhibitions and galleries. These works include the “Sedie pensanti” (reasoning chairs) of the “Sedimenti” project, in collaboration with artist Lucia Bubilda Nanni, with whom she formed the duo Bubyperry.
